The School Readiness Program was established in 2015 as a way of linking the resources/ideas/contributions of schools, community and families to provide better preparation for children as they embark on their journey to school life.
Do you question whether your child is ready for school? Reaching school age does not necessarily mean a child is ready to cope with school and school style of learning. Children develop and mature in their own way and in their own time.
Readiness for school also depends on social, emotional, and physical development, just as much as intellectual maturity. A child who gets on well with other children may achieve just as well as the super bright child. Schools cater for a wide range in ability.
Our program works with schools, families and the community to provide the best environment for children to learn and grow.
This service is funded in part by the Australian Government but can require a small contribution and also has to comply with funding guidelines. Please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly staff for pricing and service delivery information.
