Key Word Signing Workshop for Lifetime Connect Educators

Funded by the Lifetime Connect Start Strong Project, Educators and management from the Nambucca Valley Family Day Care and Nambucca Valley OOSH attended a Key Word Signing Workshop on Saturday 20^th May, 2023

Key Word Signing is used with both adults and children who are finding communication challenging. The Key Word Signing uses signs from AUSLAN sign language. AUSLAN is the native language of the Australian Deaf Community (Australian Sign Language)

Educators are looking forward introducing sign language into their services and learning more about effective communication strategies.
