We’re looking for an enthusiastic Qualified Support Worker to join our close-knit, experienced and vibrant team. You Must have full availability to work from Monday-Friday in our Coffs Harbour Region. You’ll be working with a focus on supporting our Aged Care and NDIS clients to further help them achieve independence and enhance their quality of life, actively ageing at home and in the community.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum Cert 3 in Aged Care or Individual supports.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a part of the team
  • Full availability across Monday to Friday
  • Ideally previous experience in all areas of aged care and NDIS supports
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Drivers license
  • Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needs.
  • Ability to work as a collaboratively member of a diverse team
  • Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of diverse cultures and community needs
  • Experience in facilitating training and education to clients, support networks, service providers and/or the community.
  • Demonstrated experience of developing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
$30 – $35 per hour
