Therapy and Education Support Services is an intervention service that is managed by Lifetime Connect, which prides itself on working alongside families of children 0-15yrs with a developmental delay or a diagnosed disability, and others sharing their journey. Lifetime Connect is a not-for-profit community-based organisation that specialises in providing services to local communities across the Nambucca Valley, Bellingen Valley and Coffs Harbour local government areas. The organisation is committed to providing person-centred services, enabling consumers to choose their own care and support services.
Due to exponential growth, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist to extend our reach and deliver supports in the Nambucca Valley Shire.
Lifetime Connect is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work in our Early Intervention Service Team. Successful applicants will be working in our therapy rooms, providing Telehealth Services and within school/home environments with children and their families to achieve goals, developmental milestones, and an integrated approach to therapy.

The Occupational Therapist we require will have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children, young people, and families to enable them to lead an inclusive life in their community.
As a member of a transdisciplinary team, within a strengths-based framework, you will deliver flexible and individualised supports to meet the holistic needs of the child or young person and their family, as outlined by their individual plan. Your responsibilities will include increasing the capacity of families/carers and mainstream services providers to provide inclusive services and experiences for children/young people living with a disability.
You are regarded as someone who; is passionate about supporting the rights of children and families, holds values in working collaboratively with mutual trust and respect, has good problem solving and decision-making skills and can act on feedback.
