Lifetime Connects Nambucca Valley Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) offers great after school and vacation care programs to primary school aged children. Our passion and dedication for children are the basis of our success. We are looking for individuals to join our team who are motivated to develop positive, inclusive relationships with all children and families, and our community.

Situated in the caring community of Nambucca Heads, we are approved for 80 children and are situated centrally at Frank Partridge Primary School providing a OOSH space for our fun and creative focused program.

Out of  School Care operates between 7am – 9am and 3-6pm Monday- Friday during school terms. Vacation Care operates Monday- Friday between 7am-6pm during school holidays, and pupil free days.

About the Role:

All educators work closely with the Coordinator and OSHC team.  All roles actively work with our great OOSH children.

Minimum 20 hours per week with additional shifts during school holidays.

  • Help us build strong, positive relationships between our service, local schools and the wider community.
  • Enjoy autonomy and creative freedom to work in collaboration with the Coordinator in developing and implementing the program to deliver inspiring learning experiences for children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children and their families
  • Step in as “Responsible Person” according to the roster (applicants who meet the requirements) are suitably qualified.

About You:

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and love to have FUN!
  • Enjoy engaging with school aged children and seek pleasure in their activities and are passionate about supporting their development and learning through a play-based program
  • Have a genuine interest in creating experiences for school aged children
  • Confident interpersonal skills when working with a children, their families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude
  • Previous experience in OOSH (desirable but not essential)
  • Educator roles are suitable for non-qualified, qualified or studying towards a relevant qualification (Early Childhood Education and care, Teaching Degrees, Education Support and more)
