National Meals on Wheels Day

This National Meals on Wheels Day, Lifetime Connect Meals on Wheels service is celebrating the local volunteers, clients and community members who make it all possible, and highlighting the vital role the service continues to play in the lives of people across our region.

“For more than 50 years, Lifetime Connect, Meals on Wheels service has delivered more than just meals to the community. We bring nourishment, safety and a friendly face to some of the most vulnerable people in our community – and we do it with heart,” said Stacey Munro, Manager of Aged, Community Wellness and NDIS Services.

Each day, our amazing Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver more than just freshly prepared meals they bring smiles, connection, and a friendly check-in that helps people stay independent in their own homes.
