Utungan Scottish Fair – Men’s Shed
Did you see the Lifetime Connect tent at the Utungan Scottish Fair? The Men’s Shed team were at the Fair with selling handmade woodwork made by volunteers at the Men’s Shed. The Team proudly worked on “Nessy” The Lochness Monster for the event. Great to see our Men’s Shed is back out and about in the community. As well as attending community fairs, the Men’s Shed have become a regular fixture at both the Valla and Unkya Markets. We have now have a facilities for customers to purchase items and pay by card at our Men’s Shed in Macksville and our market stalls. Bushfires, COVID-19 and floods have not dampened the enthusiasm and eagerness of the participants attending the Shed. If you are interested in attending the Shed, give us a call or stop in and we can help you out. We are always looking for more participants. We also have a new addition to the Men’s Shed with a horizontal bandsaw recently being installed allowing us to get more value out of each milled log.
