Our vision at the Lifetime Connect Wellness Centre is to provide a dedicated space for Seniors to visit and participate in community life.
Established in 2020, the concept of the Lifetime Connect Wellness Centre was to have a space where Seniors in the community can go for a chat, to socialise, exercise, share ideas and experience new things. The Lifetime Connect Wellness Centre is located at the old St Patrick’s Primary School in Macksville.
The Centre hosts a variety of projects, classes and workshops that are group-based and offer opportunity to develop, maintain or support independent living, wellbeing, reenabling and social interactions.
One of the favourite programs is Seated Dance Yoga- This class is for all levels and abilities. The class is full of fun and laughter. You enjoy movement and singing from the comfort of your chair. Other activities include Fine Art Fridays, cards, strength and balance classes.
Special interest programs such as Food and Nutrition run for 6 weeks. This program focuses on the role and impact of wholesome foods and nutrition on health and wellbeing. Hands on classes will include food preparation and cooking demonstrations followed by a shared meal. A great chance to meet new friends and share knowledge.
